This surface treatment gives the benefits of both protection and aesthetics, as well as increasing the service life of steel in response to the needs of our requirements for energy, to save resources and also upgrade our living standards. This treatment not only offers protection against corrosion, but also provides a wide range of diverse characteristics for many different applications. It is broadly used in the automotive, 3C, home appliance and mechanical industries.

Galvanized iron sheet
The coating of galvanized steel is basically a layer of pure zinc. The base material can be CGI (cold-rolled steel) or HGI (hot-rolled steel). The surface quality of HGI is not as aesthetically pleasing as CGI due to the appearance of the rough oxidized surface of the hot-rolled base material.
However, since the steel sheet is usually thicker, it is more suitable for use in building or construction where thicker sheet is required and also where aesthetics are less important. CGI, which has better uniformity because of the cold-rolled base material, can be of more diversified application.
